Fancy something different – great sea racing and some late sun (hopefully) in Tuscany?
Meet some Olympic Medallists …. Valentina Rodini and Federica Cesarini for Italy and Claire Bove and Laure Tarantola for France, respectively Olympic champions and vice-champions in women lightweights double in Tokyo will be there, and in the beach sprint the new world champion, Italian Giovanni Ficarra will be competing against the Norwegian vice Olympic silver champion in Tokyo on men’s single scull, Kyetil Borch, one of the giants of international rowing.
Supporting Technology …. both in the beach and in the endurance events, each boat will be equipped with a GPS that will allow coaches, spectators and officials, to watch the race both through live streaming and on the beach large screens – giving the real time position the rowers.
