The materials are of the highest quality and they vary, subject to the type of boat required. For the Italia S class top grade carbon fibre and honeycomb is fused through vacuum moulding and heat curing to ensure a stable, yet responsive, hull which will remain competitive for many seasons. For Coastal and Touring classes carbon fibre is blended with kevlar to ensure boats with both strength and endurance.
The Yard’s construction process is highly automated and has key quality sign off’s built into it to ensure the end product is of a guaranteed standard. It is possible to see who signed off each part of the construction process and where a boat is up to in its construction.
