While a shape which has been available for many years (with some tweaks), it remains a popular choice with developing athletes or those rowing on moving, potentially rough water (for example the tideway). It has a classic U shape and provides a good platform on which to scull in less than ideal conditions. It is still highly competitive coming 4th at the Senior Worlds final in 2018
